Winter Gardens open for Expressions of Interest

At a public meeting on Wednesday 12 January 2011 Ventnor Town Council set out the reasons for its decision to wiithdraw from its 16-year management of the Winter Gardens.

Following its temporary closure on 22 January 2011 the building's owners, the Isle of Wight Council, will be working in partnership with Ventnor Town Council in the search for new arrangements for its future based on capital investment and commercial operation and incorporating the continuing community use that has been so important to its past.
